Wednesbury Library may be housed in a listed Carnegie building, but it has recently undergone such a major refurbishment programme that it can almost claim to be a 'new' library, with fresh stock to suit all tastes, a disabled toilet on the ground floor and a major new Learning Centre on the first floor, which can be accessed via a staircase or lift for disabled users.
Wednesbury Library houses a large collection of Local History material and offers people the chance to trace their family trees using past census and local church records. The library is also especially noted for its regular programme of author events, including the Storytelling Café.
