Help With Using This Website
There are a number of ways you can find information on the sandwell.gov.uk website.
The Home Page
You can navigate to different areas of the site from the homepage and you can get back to the homepage from any web page within the site by clicking on the 'Homepage' link in the menu bar just below the main Sandwell banner at the top of the page.Navigation Categories
On the left hand side of the screen is a list of categories or headings. These broad headings can be expanded to show services that are offered by the local authority and its partners. It sometimes makes it easier to look for information under a particular topic and as you expand through the headings you can link to the relevant web page to find the information you want.Using the A to Z
One of the most popular ways of finding information is to use the A to Z function. The link to the A to Z can be found in the menu bar just below the main Sandwell banner at the top of the page. By selecting the first letter of the service you require you are presented with an alphabetical list and some explanatory text to help explain the services available beneath the link. The search facility will search the whole of the sandwell.gov.uk website using the keyword(s) you type into the search box. From the homepage we have listed some quick links to show 'How your council works'. You can go straight to areas like Contact Your Councillor, the Local Education Authority and Trading Standards; key services that members of the public want quick access to.Online Services
Online Payements - you can pay for some of your council bills online using the following credit / debit cards: Mastercard, Visa, Delta, Switch.
Online Forms - you can submit requests for some services online e.g. Applying for a job, reporting an abandoned vehicle etc. We also have a number of PDF forms available on the website for you to download should you not wish to use our online facility or if we need you to sign for the service you are requesting.
