A general list of licensing functions within Sandwell.
The Licensing Act 2003 came into effect in November 2005, requiring
anyone selling or supplying alcohol, or providing regulated
entertainment or late night refreshment to hold a premises licence or
club premises certificate.

All
taxi firms, taxis and taxi drivers in Sandwell need to have a licence
issued by the Taxi Licensing Team. You can find out information about
Private Hire Vehicles and Hackney carriages. You can also download
application forms.
Sandwell Council has designated all streets within the Borough as
prohibited for street trading without Council consent. Therefore, if
you wish to carry out any street trading activity, you must first
obtain the relevant consent.
