Sandwell is aiming to become a world class place for learning and SAFL supports this aim by providing easily accessible, good quality, informal and formal learning opportunities, tailored to meet local needs. Over the past academic year many people have attended our classes and obtained accreditation in courses from basic skills up to GCSE level.
Joining one of our courses is a great way of making new friends. It is now easier than ever to access a learning or interest class. Fees have been kept to a minimum, and there are wide ranging concessions available. Whether you want to enhance your career opportunities, learn a new skill, enjoy working with others or take up a new interesting activity, there is something for you.

How to Enrol

Our main Enrolment Week is held during the week beginning 3rd September 2007. Call the centre for details. Or you may join at the first session of the course (subject to places still being available).
Please bring along the correct fee or proof of benefit entitlement if claiming fee concessions (see page 5 for details of entitlement). IMPORTANT - If you are entitled to a fee reduction you will be required to provide documentary evidence of your entitlement to this reduction. You must ensure that this evidence is shown to a member of staff at your local centre. If you are unable to provide evidence of your entitlement, within 14 days after enrolment, you will be invoiced for the full course fee.
