Pupils and Young People
Building Schools for the Future (BSF) plans to revamp or rebuild every school in Sandwell over the next few years, and you will find that the way in which you are taught will change too.
Your view is really important to BSF, and you will get the chance to help design the school you’d like. You might also get the chance to meet and talk to the architects that will work on redesigning all or part of your school. You may be able to suggest ideas for your school, and to discuss special features or facilities that you would like to have. So when the school is built it will be one that you, and other pupils, are proud of - a school that you’re excited to go to every day.
Getting involved
If you would like to learn more or have your say on how your school will look, try some of these:- Keep an eye on this website and your school newsletter or website for details of events, where you will be able to get more information and share your ideas
- Look out for posters and leaflets at your school, youth club or sports centre
- Ask your school how you can be involved through the School Council or BSF management of change group
- Find out if any groups or clubs of which you are a member, such as the Youth Parliament or your after school club, are involved in BSF
