Why Not Become a School Governor?

School Governors are people with common sense and personal integrity; they are proactive, eager and have the ability to listen and make fair and reasoned decisions. If you feel you have these qualities you should look at becoming a Sandwell Governor!

Governors are at the heart of the Education system, they come from a variety of walks of life and from different ethnic and cultural backgrounds.

Sandwell has a clear local identity and high levels of need. If you have the energy and a wish to have a real influence on the Education Service across Sandwell, we would like to hear from you.

All applicants will have to complete a Governor Declaration Form which sets out the grounds for disqualification. This form must be processed before an appointment can be made. The Declaration Form is linked below this can be completed and returned to the address below.
