Information for Parents

 

This area of the website provides parents with information including school admissions, childcare and nurseries and general information regarding schools.

Primary pupilsParents with children who are about to start school for the first time, or whose children will be moving to a new school will find our Admissions to School pages useful.

Additional Note

Parents/carers should please note the addition of the following to Annexe 2 (in respect of Primary Schools) and Appendix 1 (in respect of Secondary Schools) in the Information Booklet:

  • Tie breaker: In the event that two or more applicants tie for last place during the allocation process the final place shall be decided by the tossing of a coin.

From Monday 14 September parents will be able to make an online application for a school place for their child over the internet.
