Courses On Offer:

• All courses offer advance and beginners level and are subject to sufficient numbers enrolling before sessions can start.
• Fees are due each term in advance and can be paid in instalments by arrangement.
• Remember all it costs is the price of a portion of chips and a coke a week!

Live Wire

Live Wire is a night of supported rehearsal for bands and individuals performers at Coneygre Arts Centre. Bring your band or your solo performer set list and work with experienced musicians and engineers to improve your live act.

Live wire is a music course that is designed to give beginners and those at an advanced level an opportunity to learn music skills that will arm them with an array of creative approaches to apply to their own work. Individual skills are combined within a band structure to work towards a cohesive final project.

All aspects of drama leading to performance each term. Led by professional directors. Devise, produce, act plus many more!

Guitar Tuition

The guitar lessons consist in learning basic cords, transforming chords into songs and how to structure the songs. Advanced learners are taught to improvise and learn more advanced skills. You have a choice on songs and genres of music, such as rock, folk music and pop.

Recording Project

Get to grips with the way in which modern music is produced and work towards recording your band in action, under the tutelage of experienced technicians.

Circus

A chance to learn how to juggle, diablo, rolla bolla, poi, stiltwalking, plate spinning and many more.

Black is Beautiful Youth Theatre

The chance for young people from BME backgrounds to take part in a project working with writers to devise, produce and act in plays, exploring their identity and their roots.

Technicans Project

This course offers and opportunity for you to acquire the skills needed to operate Coneygre's light and sound system.  It will equip you with the skills to set up equipment, adjust sound levels and to record and edit live music.

Guitar Tuition

Learn to play the guitar, in a fun friendly atmosphere.  The group is open to both beginners and more advanced players. (N.B spaces are limited on this prpject so please telephone in advance to check availability).

Music Drop in Night

A chance for extra rehearsal space for yourself, or you and your band.  There is no need to book for this session, however as it is a drop in session, you may have short wait in order to use the equipment.
