Planning Requirements : Design and Access Statement
There is a requirement for a Design and Access Statement to be submitted with most types of planning applications. The requirement applies equally for Listed Buildings and Conservation Area Consents.
A Design and Access Statement will NOT be required for:-
- Changes of use (not involving operational development)
- Householder applications (outside a Conservation Area)
- Adverts
- Reserved matters
- Engineering or mining operations
- Applications for Hazardous Substances Consent
