Strategic Waste Management
Strategic Waste Management - Sandwell's Municipal Waste Management Strategy is available to view. This document gives details of how Sandwell will meet the challenge of reducing rubbish in the borough.
In order to improve recycling and waste management services Sandwell Council's Cabinet of senior councillors has approved an ambitious Waste Improvement Plan.
The overall aim of the plan is to maximise the potential for recycling and composting and to minimise the amount of waste that is sent to landfill, achieved through continually improving services, including introducing a borough-wide collection of a wider range of recyclables from homes.
