Green box recycling collections are carried out by either the council or Community Recycling Venture (CRV). Green bag recycling collections are carried out by CRV.

Green box recycling collection - Sandwell Council

If your weekly green box recycling collection is carried out by the council you can put out the following materials for collection:

• paper - newspapers, magazines, junk mail, envelopes, brochures, catalogues, telephone directories and shredded paper (in small amounts and bagged to avoid litter).
• cans & foil - food and drink cans, empty aerosols, biscuit and sweet tins,clean foil & foil trays
• glass - bottles or jars of any colour

To find out when your green box recycling collection day is use the Find your collection day facility. If your home is covered by the council's green box recycling collection service then the search results will state 'Dry Recycling Round', followed by your collection day.
