What will being on the register mean for my child and me?

Being part of the register will mean you will be sent an Information Directory, which will provide you with useful information. You will be kept informed with regular updates about changes in services, benefits and events happening within Sandwell. You will also be helping to plan the development of local services. Within the integrated service there is also an information resource room that you can visit to find our more about any issue to do with being a child or young person with a disability and/or special needs.

If my child is on the register will I be automatically be able to get support from any service?

Some services are available to any child or young person but many will have additional criteria that a child or young person has to meet before they can receive support. Each service will be able to advise about their criteria.
