The Housing Strategy Divisions principal role is to deliver Sandwell's Housing Strategy, ensuring that residents of Sandwell have a wide range of housing market options available to them, which are well maintained and affordable.

Housing Strategy sets itself an ambitious standard to be a high performing and innovative organisation delivering a modern progressive housing strategy, which meets the future needs of Sandwell and aspirations of its residents.

Wigmore Fields DevelopmentThe Housing Strategy is driven by national, regional and sub-regional agendas although it remains guided by consultation with Sandwell partners and residents. Our overarching Housing Strategy has been accredited by the Government Office with a ‘Fit for Purpose’ status which allows us to move forward with our action plan, deliver our five priorities, and work with neighbouring authorities within the region.
