Information on Supporting People opportunities and training.
If you wish to advertise Training and Expressions of Interest in tendering opportunities in relations to the Supporting People Programme you will be able to submit information to the Supporting People Team for inclusion on this page. Whether or not the information is accepted will be at the discretion of Sandwell Supporting People.
Framework Training Event
Department of Communities and Local Government will be holding 9 Regional Supporting People Outcomes Framework Training Events during April/May to provide training to providers on the new Supporting People Outcomes Framework.
SITRA
SITRA is an organisation set up to assist provides of Supporting People services and has close links with Department of Communities and Local Government (DCLG). SITRA offers a range of courses, including some newly created courses designed for professionals working within the housing with support and care sector.
SITRA have training centres in London, Birmingham, Bristol, Exeter, Manchester, Newcastle and York.
They also offer all their courses on an In-House basis, where they send a trainer to you.
