 Joblink provides a range of free, professional and confidential employment support services to residents whether they are unemployed, seeking to return to work after a break as well as those currently employed but seeking a change of career.

Think Local Construction

 Think Local Construction operates as a job brokerage placing skilled and semi-skilled tradespeople into employment and assisting young people with their Apprenticeship and securing employment in the construction industry.

Carelink

 Working as a carer either full or part time will help you to build on your existing skills and qualities. Carelink can help you accomplish your aspirations, offering a fully funded job brokerage service to you and local care employers.

Neighbourhood Learning Centres

 Neighbourhood Learning Centres offer a wide range of friendly services for learners and job seekers, including information, adult guidance, IT training and other NVQ programmes. NLCs also provide conference room facilities.

Future Skills Sandwell

 Future Skills Sandwell provides training across Construction Trades, Customer Service and Business Administration with a range of training opportunities including Apprenticeships, Train to Gain and Onsite Assessment and Training.

In2Work

 In2work is a specialist Job Brokerage helping people with Mental Health difficulties, within Sandwell, to find and sustain employment. Help and guidance is available to employers, to help to get the most out of new and existing employees, who are experiencing mental health difficulties.

WorkWise

 If you are an unemployed Sandwell resident and are returning to work, WorkWise Sandwell may be able to support you with travel assistance. WorkWise can provide you with a personalised journey planner and a travel pass (bus/rail/metro) for up to 12 weeks.

Moving Foward

 Moving Forward works with Sandwell residents that have been unemployed for 12 months or recently made redundant, that need support so that they can return to sustainable employment. The programme offers pre-employment training and assists people back into work. There is a team of mentors/coaches to offer guidance at every stage ensuring a smooth transaction takes place.

NHS Routeways

 Routeways offer a free recruitment service to people of Sandwell looking for NHS Health and Social Care vacancies. Services include Advice and guidance and Pre employment training, mentoring and support including post employment support.
