Bonfire and Firework Display at Dartmouth Park

 

Please come along with family and friends to a safe, well organised bonfire, fireworks, and, by popular demand, laser show at Dartmouth Park on Saturday 1st November.

Fireworks

The spectacular is part of Sandwell's Year of Communities, a year of community celebration announced by the Mayor of Sandwell, Councillor Bob Price.

Gates will open at 5.30pm and the Mayor of Sandwell, Councillor Bob Price will light the fire at 6.30 pm.  

The Children's Display will get under way at 7.15 pm with the Main Display scheduled at 8.00 pm.

Around 14,000 visitors are expected to attend the Borough's official Bonfire Celebrations, and spectators will be treated to displays and effects set to music ranging from Super Hero themes to classical to varied music by Queen, Scissor Sisters, Mika, Abba and lots more.

A traditional Bonfire will be complemented by a gentle 15 minute Children’s Display which will then be followed by a thirty minute long Firework Display accompanied by the latest in laser special effects.

Included in the entertainment will be a stage compered by Mike Wyer accompanied by a Children’s magician and local band  “Jazz on Tap.”  

Pat Collins Fun Fair will be there with all the thrills of the fair, and lots of on site  caterers will provide a varied selection of food and snacks.  

Admission

  • £4.00 for Adults/Children/Over 60s.
  • Family ticket £12.00 for 1 Adult 3 Children, 2 Adults 2 Children.
  • Free admission for Under 5s

Visitors are requested, in the interests of safety not to bring fireworks or sparklers with them.

Parking

Parking for this event will be free of charge after 6.00 pm and public are asked  to park in the Town Centre car parks.
