Organ Recitals

 

An internationally renowned organ player is set to perform in West Bromwich as part of a series of lunchtime concerts.

Sandwell Cultural Services is organising popular and classical organ music during one-hour sessions at West Bromwich Town Hall which will feature professional musicians, music teachers, church organists and serious amateurs.

Among those performing will be "Queen of the Keyboards" Jean Martyn, who is known internationally for her concert keyboard skills and Radio 2's Nigel Ogden, who hosts The Organist Entertains slot on the station on Tuesdays from 10pm to 10.30pm.

  • Thursday 5 March - Nigel Ogden
  • Thursday 9 April - Kathryn Samuels
  • Thursday 7 May - Jean Martyn (Rescheduled from February)

Each concert will take place between 1.00pm and 2.00pm.

The concert series is in its 23rd year and is free.
