Tipton Library is a large, modern library situated in the town centre. It opened in August 2000.
The Local History collection includes items for loan, rare reference books and parish and census records for researching family and local history, including the 1901 census for Tipton on microfiche.
The library also now includes Tipton Heritage Centre which houses numerous items of historical interest.
