Who can join?

How do I join?

If you are 16 and over, you will need to fill in a joining form. You can do this online or at any library. You will need to show identification, for example a driving licence, medical card, recent bill, student library card or cheque/credit card. If you are under 16, all you need to do is fill in a joining form and hand it to the library staff. You will need the consent of a parent or carer if you want to use the Internet. Your parent or carer can complete the consent form and you can bring it with you when you come to join a library.

Your Library Card

When you join you will receive a library card. Please bring it to the library each time you visit. You can use your library card to borrow items from the library and to make a booking on a computer. You are responsible for everything borrowed on your card, so please do not let anyone else use it.

Lost Card

If you lose your library card, please tell us at once to prevent someone else using it. There is a small charge for a replacement card.

Change of Address

If your circumstances have change you can notify us by using our online form or calling at any of our libraries.
