We are able to provide quality playing facilities for Rugby, football, cricket and bowling across the Borough, many of which may be booked by individuals, teams or leagues.

As part of our commitment to the provision of outdoor sports and recreation the Parks and Countryside Management unit seek to work with external partners to secure funding that enables improvements to our facilities. Initiated in 2002 this programme will continue provided appropriate sustainable resources are available.

Works have been undertaken at a number of sites to ensure improved drainage and playing surfaces, ensuring increased playability throughout the season and this is supported with a programme of dressing room renovation.
