War Memorials

 

Sandwell consists of the former six towns of West Bromwich, Smethwick, Tipton, Oldbury, Wednesbury and Rowley Regis and has taken the responsibility for the maintenance and upkeep of the War Memorials across all of these towns.

War Memorials in Sandwell

As there are a number of sites across the Borough the management of the land is shared between Parks and Countryside Management, Bereavement Services and the Council’s Corporate Property Division.

Whatever the land management responsibility for these sites, the maintenance and the upkeep of the memorial structures sits with the Council’s Corporate Property Division.
