Free Swimming from April 2009
From 1st April 2009 free public swimming will be available for those aged 16 and under and 60+. This is a Government Initiative to help increase participation that subject to funding will initially run until March 2011. To obtain your free swimming pass visit your nearest Sandwell Leisure Trust swimming centre with relevant ID.
Please note this initiative does not include swimming lessons, aquafit, fun sessions or targeted sessions. Some public swimming sessions may also have time slots during busy periods, customers are advised to check for availability.

- Clubs - Swimming, Sub Aqua / Underwater Diving, Slimming, Sewing / Hook & Needlecraft.
- Meeting room with lecture facilities.
- NEW Club Tropicana session, Saturdays 2pm to 3pm, - Fun, floats, music, water cannons.
- NEW Langski pool jetski session - involves inflatable jet skis that are available for anyone who can swim and weighs less than 14 stone. Wristbands cost £1.00 per person.
- NEW Pedallo Boats
- Professional Swim Teaching and Lifesaving courses.
- Swimming pools (main 30.5m, depth 1.15-2.20m, learner pool 17.5m, depth 0.85-1.15m).
- Swimming Instruction Programme.
- Swimming Development Centre (including lifeguard & swim teaching courses).
- Young at Hearts, 50+ activity session
NEW Under 8's Child Admission Policy for Unprogrammed (casual) Swimming Sessions - April 2006.
Sandwell Leisure Trust actively provides links to aquatic activity clubs under Clublink information.

Monday, Wednesday, Friday 9.00am - 9.00pm, Tuesday 6.30am-9.00pm, Thursday 6.30am - 10.00pm, Saturday 9.00am - 1.00pm, Sunday 8.00am - 1.00pm. Please check with Centre for specific programme and facility opening times.
Awards and Accreditation
This Centre has received QUEST accreditation that defines industry standards in Facility Operations, Staffing, Customer Service, Service Development and Review as recommended by the British Quality Foundation. QUEST is a Nationally recognised quality standard designed by the leisure industry for the leisure industry. Accredited facilities can also benchmark with other operators nationally.
