Tipton Teen Football League
Every Friday starting 15th January-5th March 2010 league football will be available for 16-19 year olds on the new all weather pitches. The league will consist of 5-a-side games lasting 25 minutes per match. There will be individual trophies for the winning team and a gift for those that attend all 8 weeks. To take part simply contact Lisa Rashid on 0121 506 4980. Why not come along and join in, it's free!
Womens Football League
Pre-season summer womens league starts 9th June to 21st July, 7pm till 8pm, just £10 per team, per week. (5 a-side, 25 minute matches) Contact Sport & Physical Activity Team for further details on; 0845 659 4815.
Skorz All Weather Pitches Arrive
October sees the opening of the new branded Skorz Scoccer Centre all-weather pitches that replaced the outdoor tennis courts. As part of the opening a 5-a-side Tipton Tournament will be taking place on Saturday 28th November between 1-4pm. Entry costs £5.00 per team with prizes for the following team. Bowls
Open to all from beginners to advanced and all ages are welcome. Sessions start 15th October from 10am-11am and 11am-12 noon. The cost is £1.50 for Leisure Pass members and £3.00 for non Leisure Pass members.
Fit4Kidz
An initiative to improve childrens health. A high energy 90 minute session organised games and free play, where fun and participation are the key elements. The session uses a variety of equipment such as parachute, wobble boards, space hoppers, bean bags and balls and are led by fully trained Fit4Kidz instructors.
