Activities are taking place during term time and holiday periods throughout the year.

The objectives of these activities are:

  • To engage young people in youth diversionary activities in order to reduce crime, anti-social behaviour and low-level nuisance behaviour issues in towns and neighbourhoods within Sandwell.
  • Encourage young people predominantly between the ages of 11-19 to become involved in, and participate in sporting and physical activities during holiday periods, evening and weekends.
  • To provide a number of individual, open access sport and physical activity schemes across Sandwell.

Single Referral Route - For Young People who need Specific Support

Diverting young people from crime and anti-social behaviour is key to reducing the number of young people offending within Sandwell. Sandwell Council together with key partners has devised a single referral form to access a wide range of activities for children and young people at risk of anti-social behaviour or offending.

Each intervention is tailored to meet needs identified and cases are discussed at a multi-agency panel in order that the most appropriate services are accessed.

If a child or young person needs this support please complete a single route referral form.
