You can report a defect using our online form or by telephoning the above number. An inspector will decide on appropriate course of action.

How long will it take to repair?

Dangerous defects will be made safe within 24 hours. A permanent repair will be effected as quickly as possible. Other defects will be repaired within 15 working days. Where defects are not considered serious but extensive remedial works are required, these will be entered on the maintenance programme and dealt with in priority order. The speed of repair depends on the availability of funds.
