Sandwell Company Travelwise
Sandwell Company TravelWise is a local initiative which encourages companies and their employees to reflect on their current transport practices and recognise alternative means of travel, which may be more cost-effective, practical and environmentally friendly.
The health related benefits should also be taken into consideration, especially with increased cases of obesity and heart disease often covered by the media.
The initiative also encourages companies to use the car more efficiently, which is highlighted by the launch of Sandwell Car Share, which aims to reduce congestion on the road in and around the Borough.
