Music in the Park
Summer is here and the Sunday afternoon band concerts in Sandwell Parks are already underway.
The Parks and Countryside Management Team have put together a programme of free concerts to delight and entertain audiences of all ages.
Family Centre Scoops Development Award
Sandwell Council has scooped a top accolade for the Priory Family Centre in Wednesbury.
The Council's project team received the award for "outstanding achievement in providing community facilities" in the West Midlands heat of the RICS Awards 2008 at a ceremony in Birmingham last month.
Sandwell Herald - Summer 2008
The Summer 2008 edition of the Sandwell Herald is now available to view on this website.
The Herald is distributed free of charge to households across Sandwell and covers the activities of the Council.
The Summer NHS Sandwell Health Report, which is distributed with the Herald is also available.

Residents are reminded that the Contact Centre is open 8.00am - 8.00pm Monday to Friday and 8.30 - 1.30pm on Saturdays.
The traditional office hours of 9am-5pm are the busiest time for the Centre so to avoid waiting, it is recommended that residents utilise the full opening hours.
The Contact Centre handles calls regarding Anti-Social Behaviour, Job Applications, Environmental Services (dustbins and recycling) and General Enquiries. Calls are charged at a local rate.
