Road and pathway maintenance
The Council carries out maintenance work on the public highway to comply with statutory obligations. Our aim is also to provide safe, unobstructed public highways that enhance the environment for all highway users.
Street cleaning
We strive to keep Sandwell clean and tidy. You can report problems such as graffiti and fly tipping and find out what we do to keep Sandwell a cleaner place to be with information about Street Wardens and the other services we provide.
Road safety
Sandwell's Road safety team provides education, training and publicity for residents. They are also responsible for the management and delivery of the school crossing patrol service.
Parking
Information about car parks including locations and pay and display charges that may apply. You can also find out about the blue badge parking scheme as well as information about paying parking fines.
Report it!
You can report online abandoned vehicles, potholes in the road, graffiti, broken street lights and traffic lights, missed dustbin collections and dumped rubbish (fly tipping).
Public transport
Sandwell is in the heart of the West Midlands public transport system with access to buses, trains and the Metro. Network West Midlands connects all public transport in the local area.
